After completing his graduation from Serampore College of the University of Calcutta, Dr. Neogi did his M.Sc in Physics from the University of Calcutta in 2007. In the same year he joined as a Junior Research Fellow in the department of physics of the University of Calcutta for pursuing his Ph.D degree. He has awarded Ph.D degree in 2014. After submission of Ph.D thesis he joined in Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science as a Post-doctoral research fellow (2013-2016) in the department of Material Science. He joined in the department of Physics of Adamas University as an Assistant Professor from June 2016. During his Ph.D work, he did synthesis and characterization of transition metal doped ZnO, commonly known to us “Dilute Magnetic Semiconductors” and in his post-doctoral research he involved in the field of Half Metallic Magnetism. These materials find application in spintronics and related fields. Dr. Neogi has research interest in the interdisciplinary domain of solid state physics and material science. His research work has been published in various peer-reviewed international journals.
